Important Update

The Pleasant Valley Neighborhood Association would like to invite neighbors to join the Association. Through participating in activities, we get to know our neighbors, and this becomes a safer and friendly community. There are many new faces right now and we’d love to get to know you! Help us make our neighborhood a community. Pleasant Valley is one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Colorado Springs. Making life here a little better for neighbors makes us a community.
There is a lot that happens on our side of town that impacts us. We would like to have more members in the Neighborhood Association because having an active group gives us more input with the city regarding things affecting our neighborhood. The more members, the more input we have with the mayor and city council. If we didn’t have an active group, they wouldn’t be interested in hearing from us.
We worked with the city to get the Neighborhood Watch signs at all entrances to the Valley and the dumpsters for the neighborhood cleanup. We’re having discussions with the parks department regarding improvements that we can work on cooperatively. We’ve gotten quite a bit of input from the PVNA members regarding the improvements they would like to see in Westmoor Park.
We have been setting up more activities for the neighbors to enjoy. There are many younger families moving here and they have requested things to do locally. The Association hosts events like the Easter egg hunt, Music in the Park, the annual Meet and Greet, and the Holiday Light Contest. We also maintain the entrance garden on 31st Street. We’ll announce any activities on mypvna.com, Facebook, and NextDoor.
Memberships are $25 per year. You can find membership information by clicking here: join - Mypvna.com. There you can sign up and pay online, print out the registration form and mail it in, or see us at any of our events. If you would like to volunteer, please let us know.
We’re looking for additional PVNA board members to help with event planning and the neighborhood watch. We meet once a month for about an hour or two. If you’re interested, please contact us using this link Contact - Mypvna.com .
